Established in 2004, PPA continues to outperform various cycles of economic crisis in domestic and regional/global market. As part of Danareksa Holding, The Company has now become the only national asset management company (NAMCO) with specialization in SOE restructuring and revitalization, NPL management, and special situations fund.
Expanding its role beyond restructuring and revitalization, PPA is mandated to perform turnaround and growth strategy to strengthen Indonesian SOEs. Through Special Power of Attorney (PoA) from the Government of Indonesia, PPA drives SOEs Restructuring to shape their operational and financial strategy in achieving sustainable business growth. PPA handles 21 state-owned enterprises (SOEs) and 1 subsidiary of a state-owned enterprise, namely through restructuring, merger, divestment, or liquidation strategies.
PPA plays a crucial role in supporting the strengthening of the national banking system through NPL Management. Secured in a B2B Agreement with the Banks, PPA manages the NPL assets through inventive scheme that effectively resolute banks’ asset quality. The award-winning scheme has successfully proven through the resolution of NPLs of two major banks in Indonesia amounting to USD715 million last year.
PPA also refocuses its existing investment activities and rebrand it as Special Situations Fund (SSF). Focusing more on Indonesian SOEs, SSF provides sophisticated investment solutions to complement traditional banking services. PPA SSF invests in various level of capital structure, tailored to client needs and requirements in broad array of business stages. In addition to that, PPA SSF also provides advisory services to complement our investment activities.
